Not a great start

I'm sorry the blog has fallen silent for almost a month. But I hope you will agree that I have good reasons for this...

In the past four or five weeks, we have had three separate colds (one of which might have been flu it was so bad), a gastro-intestinal bug, and lice (shudder) go through our family; plus there was a two-day power outage. It has not, as they say, been a particularly auspicious beginning to the new year.

Knitting has, however, been happening in fits and starts throughout all this, and as soon as I finish regaining my equilbrium from the latest round of plague, I will be blogging more about it.

In the meantime, I hope you all have been faring much, much better than I have.
