Monstrously cute

I've been wanting to make this next pattern for a long while. And one of my co-workers is expecting his second baby at the beginning of next year, so it's the perfect excuse! The pattern is Das Monster, by Hrönn Jónsdóttir, and it not only gives you a fabulous end product, but is excruciatingly clever and well-written, too. Hrönn has a lovely, friendly, and clear, explanatory style of pattern writing and I was quite impressed. So, highly recommended. Here is my version:
