For Mother’s Day, my daughters gave me yarn and asked me to knit a blanket with it, but I only had about 650 yards. Thus, I decided to knit the blanket on the bias and work the main area and border simultaneously – that way, I could increase until I used up half the yarn, then decrease back down, and be certain of having just enough to finish. I came up with a lace motif, and produced this sweet little design.
Great for knitters who want to move beyond basic lace, this blanket is knitted on the bias with the border worked as you go.
