The lace motif on this bias-knit shawl was inspired by traditional Ethiopian embroidery. This is typically done on white or natural cotton, which is why the model piece shown is done in white cotton yarn as well. However, the shawl will also work beautifully in a variety of fibres and colours.

- After blocking: 17 sts and 36 rows (18 ridges) to 4”/10cm in garter stitch
