So that's...unexpected

I have stats tracking set up for this blog. I find it super-useful. For one thing, it reassures me that there are actually people reading the thing. :) It's especially fun seeing the numbers spike when I get published in Knitty or something. It's also extremely neat to see how people get here - I can see whether someone came from one of my patterns on some other site; or a link on someone else's blog; or a discussion forum; or someone's blogroll; or somewhere else entirely. If they found me via a search engine, I can see what keywords they used to find me. For instance, I never would have thought to write a tutorial on how to rib in double knitting if the stats hadn't told me that a lot of people were finding me via Google searches for things like "double knitting rib" or "how to knit double knit rib".

Anyway, a few days ago, I was doing some skimming over the stats tracking, and discovered that someone had found me by searching for:

big honkin gazongas

I'm not even a little bit kidding.

Moreover, I am apparently the number three search result on Google when you type in those keywords.

I found that rather stunning. Especially when you consider the fact that I actually have the opposite of big honking gazongas...unless I've recently had a baby. Then things look more like this. (Hence the appearance of my blog for that search.)

However, I just gotta wonder...if I was surprised to be found with that kind of search criteria, how surprised do you think the person was doing the actual searching?

Absolutely hillarious. I'm quite sure they weren't looking for a knitting blog!!!
