Taking a wee break from knitting

Hopefully you'll forgive me. :)

This is Elizabeth Rose, who was born the evening of April 10, after a rather thunderous 5-or-so-hour labour. (The first midwife's arrival preceded her birth by just 14 minutes!) She came out at 7lbs, 5oz. She's well, and I'm well. Her big sister is besotted. Happiness reigns. Knitting will resume...uh...not sure when. Hopefully soon! (DD1 still needs that spring jacket, after all.)

I suppose as excuses go, that one is the cutest!

Welcome to the world, Elizabeth Rose! Did your mommy put a knitting needle in your hand yet?

Congratulations - she's absolutely beautiful! I guess her big sister knew what she was talking about all along. Let me know if you need any help (I'm even willing to drive to the far north for the chance to get my hands on a baby!)

What a sweetie!
We always use "Bibit" as a nickname for Elizabeth. Not sure why but it's a nice change from Liz.
Congratulations.
